Golden Behaviors

I created a comprehensive system for behavior change. I call it the Behavior Change Masterplan. Step by step, I explain this in my new book, Tiny Habits. 


One nugget: 


Select new habits according to three criteria:


-       You want to do this habit (motivation)

-       You can do this habit (ability)

-       This habit will be effective in reaching your aspiration (impact)


A habit with all three is what I call a “Golden Behavior.


By starting with Golden Behaviors, you won’t have to worry much about sustaining motivation.
